Fifteen players of all levels of ability fought it out on the lawns over two day's play in the Club's President's Cup Singles Championship event held on June 27 and 28. 

Club Captain, Charles Mitchell, said the event was a valuable opportunity for members to learn from the Club's best players. 

But in the end there could only be one winner! This year's President's Cup winner is Andrew Cole. Andrew (left) and Steve O'Hare battled it out over two games (7-5 and 7-6). 

Congratulations to Andrew and all who competed. Special mentions to Ian Fryer, Col Clayton, Lynne Newcombe and Allan Stone for their solid performances.  Thanks to Geraldine Trivett for her expert refereeing.
